Our first major upset of college football season occurred hours ago in Eugene Oregon. The Arizona Wildcats went to Oregon last night and beat the Ducks for the second year in a row. What a way to start off this weekend.
I woke up this morning with a big smile on my face. All the nonsense that is transpiring in Ann Arbor with the Wolverines this week and then they have to turn on the tv and watch Rich Rod beat Oregon. You wish you had him now Michigan?? Oh remember he wasn’t a Michigan guy… you got your guy, a guy who patrols the sidelines with no headset on walking in circles looking the clock tick down in his Michigan coaching career. I will admit it is good for college football with the Wolverines are good, but to watch their elitist fans up in arms makes me happy. I have frequented bars in the past and watched the Michigan fans shake their keys like clowns. I guess there aint much shakin goin on anymore.
The guy they forced out Rich Rod has started his Arizona career 8-5, 8-5, and is now 5-0. This at a school that isn’t exactly a football school. I think we all can agree the first thing we think of when we hear Arizona is basketball. Rich Rod is 2-0 in bowl games at Arizona. Across the sidelines, what is the opinion on Chip Kelly now across the country. Chip was 33-3 vs the Pac 12 while at Oregon. With the loss last night, Mark Helfrich is now 8-3 vs the Pac 12.
Hindsight is always 20/20 and its crazy how 1 or 2 events changes the landscape for so many people. So many people could be still shaking their keys hailing the victors
