Thirsty Thursday Football Preview

A good night of football looms both in the college and pro ranks.

UCLA @ Arizona St
UCLA -4 Over/Under 59.5
This is a monstrous game in the Pac 12 standings. Both teams are unbeaten but both teams are still a mystery. UCLA quarterback Todd Hundley who was banged up 10 days ago expects to play, but what can we expect from him and the injured non throwing elbow. Arizona St quarterback is out and they will start Mike Bercovivi the first of his career. UCLA will look to go after him. I loved this UCLA team heading into the season and the first 3 weeks they were mediocre. Now they are heading to Arizona St on a Thursday night with a banged up quarterback. We will find out once and for all who they are. The coaching matchup is a good one as well as we have Todd Graham vs Jim Mora. UCLA will find a way somehow, someway behind their defense.
My Prediction
UCLA 30 Arizona St 28
Lean Arizona St +4

At the varsity level we have a NFC East showdown
Giants @ Redskins
Redskins 3.5 Over Under 46
The Giants played solid last week against an overrated Texan team to earn their first win. Eli and the offense has played well the last 2 weeks. Last week they protected the ball unlike in week 2. The Redskins are coming off a tough game against the Eagles. Their injury report was 17 players long. The Redskins are probably the better team. But not tonight. It is to tall of a task to ask that team to come back on a Thursday to face another NFC East opponent after the physicality of Sunday. The Skins will have success on the ground which will keep them in the game throughout but Eli will make one more play against the shaky Skins secondary.
My prediction
Giants 24 Redskins 20
Lean Giants +3.5
