AFC South Preview

AFC South Preview in order of finish

Indianapolis Colts (win total 9.5)
Im not love with this team as much as many others I have heard and read. I think Andrew Luck is a superstar and he has some nice weapons on the outside. They still lack a running back to take some of the pressure off Luck. And the defense is nothing to write about. An unpredictable division is the reason they win it again.

Certainly sounds like Andre the Giant and maybe he looks a little like him to

Tennessee Titans (win total 7.5)
I love the hire of Ken Whisenhunt. If anyone can get Jake Locker headed in the right direction Wiz certainly can. They bring in Ray Horton to run the defense who is just as competent on that side of the ball. They rid themselves of a problem in Kenny Britt and should have Kendall Wright emerge as a very good receiver in the league. This could be one of the surprise teams in the league and could even see them giving the Colts all they could want.

Houston Texans (win total 7.5)
The Texans bring in quarterback guru Bill O’Brien. I am not sure he will be able to resurrect Ryan Fitzpatrick though and they may be turning the team to Tom Savage from college powerhouse Pitt. O’Brien should be able to hang his hat on the defensive line. With the addition of Jadeveon Clowney to go opposite JJ Watt that should be a formidable force. The team should improve over last year’s 2-14 campaign and I could see them flirting with 8-8 depending on the quarterback play.

Jacksonville Jaguars (win total 5.5)
Defensive minded Gus Bradley enter year 2 of the rebuild in Jacksonville. The Jags turned things around towards the end of last year and should continue to make progress under Bradley. They drafted Blake Bortles with the 3rd pick in the draft and he was impressive in the pre season. However, Chad Henne will start the season keeping the seat warm for Bortles. The defense should continue to be solid and if the young offense makes some plays the Jags will surprise some teams. The team is headed in the right direction and the Jags fans should notice it from the comforts of there swimming pool
